New-Aire Add-On Air Tight doors helps control heat loss, wood consumption,  and smoke and air infiltration.  Air Tight doors make any fireplace more efficient by controlling the "burn rate",  allowing you to use less wood.  

Choose a door style to make your fireplace complete, replace an older door set or add on a door set to an existing fireplaces.

Doors through the years

New-Aire doors have changed over the years and have gone from cast iron to steel and from small to larger with more glass.  New-Aire continues to service these doors for our customers by helping them update tape, rope, replacement  glass, or replacement doors.

Hundred (00) series Add-0n doors

The hundred  series door set  has the spin draft knobs under the doors, giving a larger glass viewing area.   Spin draft knobs allow customers to control some air flow into the firebox.   The air is directed right into the ash bed area.  

The first number is the 00 series designated the upper door style design.

fifty (50) Series add-on doors

The fifty series door set  has the spin draft knobs are moved up into the doors.  Moving the spin draft knobs away from the ash bed allows the air to flow directly to the fire.

The first number is the 50 series designated the upper door style design.

1000/1050 series

The 1000 and 1050 series door sets give customer the option of having curves both on the door top and on the flange, allowing the doors to work with curves throught the masonry and the home design.  Because this door set is hand crafted, please allow more time for construction.

security doors

Security Doors are double insulated doors that are usually placed on the exterior of a see thru unit with deck or garage access.  These double insulted doors can help retain heat in your firebox.  Feeding the fire box from the outside or garage helps to keep your house clean.  A tab for a locking device is added for security.

New-Aire creates custom door fronts, giving customers a unique look for their ranch, home, or business.

Speciality sized doors are built to the customers specifications, allowing the customer to create a more efficient fireplace.
